The power of linux is freedom. It's the ability to customize your environment to the limits of your ability, over time.
I haven't even had to reboot my linux computer for over a month.

This sounds like Windows desu. Always some update breaking something. One time a Windows update broke my bluetooth connectivity, so I was without a keyboard for a little while.

I like that most Linux distros just let you update exclusively when you want. Back when I was running the meme distro Arch that everyone says breaks a lot, I can honestly say that I never experienced system breakage, because I was updating once a week, and checking the offical Arch front page prior to update to see if there was any issue which required manual user intervention to prevent breakage. This happened I think two or three times in the three years that I used it. So it's a bit like Windows: know what you're doing, and it won't break.

PEBCAK comes to mind.

I have a script that will install and configure all the packages I use. So even a hardware failure would take very little time.
Solve these problems once and be done
