Boring utilities are the best, because they don't crash

Ford is very cyclical. You can't pull out of it during a recession, which is not convenient.

This really isn't the time to buy into utilities though. Even questionable ones like SO feel pumped past value.

AT&T, Leading cloud data for the future and owns all the telecommunication lines and fiber in the USA, The government and all other tele companies leech and suck the tit of them and PAY THEM to use their shit. The government has to use AT&T's internet/network to operate, And it's relatively cheap.

I'm legitimately seeing new (17-18) model Ford Focus and Fusion models all over the goddamn place, and I own one myself. I think Ford is a good bet and their huge 6.5% dividend makes them an extremely appealing investment.

Coca Cola is a good stock to get some solid dividends - you do have to hold for a certain period of time of course but that's a given. Honestly dividends bore me - I used to go all in on stocks and options but then I got a taste of the volatility and potential in crypto and have dropped it for now.

REITs are more risky but you can get double digit dividends from them. Put it in a DRIPS program and you can really rack it up so long as it doesn’t crash.
