this is why you use the coinbase vault feature. Theres a 48 hour delay after any kind of withdrawal is initiated so it gives you time to cancel a hacked transaction like this

Why the fuck would anyone agree to having their funds locked up for 48 hrs in a volatile market?

Just get a security key. Problem solved. No 2FA hacking available, instant access to your funds as long as you're around your key.

Wrong, you literally lock it into another wallet which has no exchange access. You need to transfer it to either your normiebase asset wallet or Coinbase pro asset wallet to trade.

you'd have to paint a target on your back though this is why you should never publicly disclose how much crypto you own

Also calling your cell phone provider and requesting a note on your account that states that sim change requests can only be done in person with id verification

there's no guarantee that Pajeet reads the note when the hacker calls however it could help

Will reiterate that with a security key it’s fine. Coinbase didn’t have security key 2fa until just this past June, but it’s the best thing you can do outside of a hardware wallet. It might even be better give that CB can still grant you access through ID verification if you lose your key but if you lose your hardware wallet you are fucked.

Let this be a lesson, anons.
Always set up a separate 2FA email just for crypto exchange use and literally nothing else. Each exchange account must be set up with 2FA as well as enabling Vault and Whitelist addresses for coinbase.
