Apparently IDEX (a "decentralized" exchange) is introducing a compulsory KYC policy. Not just for burgers, but for everyone.

Now that it's about dead, what exchange will we move to next?

I still can't understand why everyone thinks this is some sort of demonic problem. You fucking retards think that ANY exchange/country will allow you to trade thousands of dollars and leave? Wake up you fucking retards, regulations are coming. THIS IS A NET GOOD. ALL THEY WANT ARE TAX MONIES. If you think you'll make it with $1,000,000 in BTC then just "cash out" without setting off massive alarms you are DELUSIONAL. Anyone with trivial amounts of money are complaining about this because they feel it's a slap in the face. Anyone WITH money LOVES THIS SHIT.
The more I can point to legitimised sources of my trading income THE BETTER.

Idex is not a fiat exchange. If you're withdrawing money to your bank account, you OBVIOUSLY can't to do it anonymously because all banking transactions are monitored by the financial department of your country. But this is crypto.

Eventually this may enable idex to process Fiat tho. Also large organizations cannot trade against non kyc individuals

>> No.14882303

would it be a good idea to buy the IDEX token now? I think the exchange volume will increase a lot from KYC, normies love anything they can type their name into.

>he doens't even use idex
idex is a crypto to crypto only exchange it is basically ethereum wallets trading erc-20 tokens you're not setting off "alarms" for cashing out your ETH. One of the biggest reasons to even use a decentralized exchange is so you can trade coins without letting some shady fuck having control of your real life information and a picture of your I.D. and knowing all of your funds and transactions.

No kyc, never kyc, doesn't hold your coins. Ever.

No volume but you can change that if you want.

KYC is a volume killer. Just go look at what happened with Aphelion after they brought in KYC. Not that it had any volume to begin with
