When did you realize that the skill of sifting through 4chan to find actual advice is the most valuable thing to have?

The way 4chan operates, the 'authority factor' doesn't exist. This factor is seen in reddit's karma system, and in real life can range from status to good looks. Majority of people cannot think for themselves, so they need this authority factor as a crutch to make decisions in their life. These people are so easily manipulated because they appeal to hivemind activity, and more importantly they are blind to their own conscience.

When you can effectively differ good advice from bad, jew slayer from goy, millionaire from pajeet pruley on text alone, you can apply this skill to every aspect of life, and ultimately you realize how important listening to your own conscience really is.

Redditors and normal fags will never understand.

Reddit is a lot better than this here shithole the last few years.
In reddit, normies upvote a comment/post that they like and downvote ones that they dislike.
Here, posts that get community (or pajeets) approval are showered with replies like 'based', 'pilled', 'this',... effectively same things as upvotes. Downvotes can be equated with short insult replies: 'retard', 'kys', 'go back to plebbit',...
It isnt a lot different to reddit at all and both of these you can just choose to ignore. If you cant ignore karma on reddit, dont kid yourself on being able to always think for yourself here and not go with the flow.

Reddit does however have a more crypto info, bigger ratio of serious to troll posts making it even easier to find info, better ways to categorize info via subreddits, ability to check poster pajeet probability via his history...
Only advantage that biz has is that new info propagates on average ~5 min faster.
