I work in a multinational and I'll be going on a business trip in London next week. Hotel and all is paid by the company but I have no idea what the fuck I'm actually going to do there. Supposedly it's for some training where we have to provide our own input. The thing is that I actually don't know what my job really entails, but I can do the stuff that's expected (when x arrives, I do y).

I don't know the meaning behind all these processes and now they expect me to go talk about it with other colleagues.

What the fuck do I do, won't they notice I'm a phony? I'm stressing the fuck out tbqh

Lie, fake it until you make it, and nod politely.

No one in the world really knows what the fuck they're doing. It's liberating to also realize that you have no clue either. Treat it as an experience to see how others work in your shoes, and if you need to, fib a little. It's all a game man.
