There are currently 8 high-level positions open at Chainlink:
https://careers.chain.link

In addition, Chainlink is also asking anyone who thinks they can support the project to apply.

Say they hire just those 8 people, at an average of something like 150k (this is fintech in SF).
That's 1.2MM just for one year just for those 8.
Plus about 25% overhead, making it 1.5MM for one year.

And I'm sure they're going to make sure they can pay them for more than one year, so let's say they create a 3 or 5-year buffer just for those 8; making it 4.5 to 7.5 million USD just for those new 8 hires.
(Even if you only count on 100k per hire, that's 3 to 5 million USD)

And then there's the team and staff already in place.
And then there's the downtown SF rent, licencing, legal, consultancy, designers, marketing, partnership fostering, events, ...
Not to mention the fucking gas, electric, water bills lmao.

A dozen or so million is absolute chump change at this level of fintech.

WE ARE ALL IN THIS TOGETHER

DO NOT UNDER ESTIMATE THE POWER OF POSITIVE THOUGHT! ESPECIALLY COLLECTIVE POSITIVE THOUGHT!

THIS SHIT IS GOING TO REACH $1,000 EASILY!
HOLD THAT THOUGHT AND VISUALIZE IT IN YOUR MIND EVERYDAY AS OFTEN AS POSSIBLE STARTING NOW AND IT WILL MANIFEST INTO REALITY. DO IT! I'M NOT JOKING!

VISUALIZE AS OFTEN AND AS DETAILED AS POSSIBLE!

I've invested in one local startup. Too bad they don't have a token. It would make balance keeping so much more convenient!

True, they could withdrawl according to their costs each month or week.
OR
MILLIONS OF TOKENS AT THE PEAK OF THE EVENTS AND COINBASE LISTING WITHING 2 WEEKS THROUGH +6 DIFFERENT WALLETS

Jokes aside. Im never selling market makers

Rory for instance confirmed that staff is indeed getting paid in Link.
Probably not entirely, but who knows.
It doesn't matter anyway because they would be counting in Link's current fiat value.

>>14838472
"A dozen or so million is absolute chump change at this level of fintech" covers it pretty well.
And that's just for the absolute basic expenses.

>>14838633
>But they aren’t in SF dumbo.
Their main base of operations is in SF.

>>14838728
They have more than just the 8 new hires to cover.

Takes money to make money.
Kyber's ICO raised nearly double what Chainlink raised, and that's "just" another exchange.
