If you're referring to the dollar pairs, I'll give some of my thoughts on this, as I made a post about it recently.

I made this post yesterday: >>14816988

>1. Bitcoin dominance topping around 70%
>2. ETH/USD stabilizing around $200

>If those 2 things happen, I'll be watching to see if BTC/USD starts recovering (i.e. a Daily Close above $11k)

(current focus is on Ethereum because of its large market cap and the recent news)

Bitcoin dominance is now beginning to fall from that 70%-ish area, while ETH/BTC shows basing signs above the 0.02 BTC level.

Other Altcoin/BTC pairs are rising, not just Ethereum's, but that's just what I'm focusing on, right now.

For BTC/USD to have risen, while its Dominance fell, it would've needed to either risen at a SLOWER rate or held stable, while Altcoin/USD pairs rose at a faster rate or were comparatively stronger in some other way to BTC/USD.

This is why I had originally posted that I was waiting for 1. BTC dominance to show signs of "topping" and 2. Ethereum to stabilize at $200.

What's ACTUALLY taking place right now is that BTC/USD is falling at a faster rate, compared to the Altcoin/Dollar pairs, which are also weak/falling (just not as much as BTC/USD).

The overall outcome is that Bitcoin Dominance is weakening, while Dollar pairings fall at differing rates.
