it's funny how you still believe some projects will reach multibillion mcaps just because they have decent tech lmao. what you faggots forget to think about is the very real possibility that no one fucking cares about blockchain use-cases. all we see is fake partnerships and zero real-world adoption even 6 years after ETH started. 6 YEARS. this fact was masked while we inly had slow blockchains but now with ONE, FTM and the like it becomes painfully obvious that it's not the tech that impedes adoption. it's simply that most normies in executive positions have no fucking use for the technology or think it's an outright scam. NPCs will still defend blockchain lmao.

all the 2nd gen blockchains are just worth billions still because of redditors who refuse to sell. no one is using any of that shit.

When we designed Skycoin, we chose a niche we can defend and which we cannot get displaced from. You cannot just clone the whole hardware network, the community, the protocol stack. There will be coins that are higher market cap than skycoin and who appeal to a much larger audience and more to the public.

However, what you will see, is that any technical or marketing innovation these coins make; will be instantly copied by all other competent teams. And it is open source, so it will be very easy to copy any technical innovation.

So we intentionally chose a niche, where it is defensible. This is important for funding a project over the long term and for having an asset that will be around in 20 years, instead of just being "This years Bitcoin" or "This years Ethereum" because we will see a "new Bitcoin", or a "new ethereum" taking the 1 to 4 spots, every four or five years for decades. The market will never settle or reach any type of stability.
