Novice here with a quick question on what platform is generally recommended to trade on whether its ETrade, scottrade, capital one, etc or if there's no benefit between the bunch.

You aren't going to be making enough trades to where there's a big difference between $7 and $10

I use TDAmeritrade because I like thinkorswim. I make less than 50 trades/year so the difference between that and say Merrill Edge isn't significant

Just don't use RH if you are using actual money
