What is it if not physical?

On a side note, what would you say about the people who worked on the tech involved in landing?

One of my great uncles worked on a antenna for, IIRC, Viking I. Guy was super smart as he did some work on the B2 bomber. Went nuts when he got older and thought the Soviets were after him. Pretty sure he believed Mars existed as a physical entity since he worked on part of it.

With flat earthers, my older brother works on missiles that change their trajectory based on the curvature of the earth. Don't believe he's caught up in any scandals.

On an unrelated note, one of my great great uncles helped to establish modern day China in being best friends with Sun Yat Sen.

Meanwhile, I'm diluting the family line by posting on a Thai lady boy basket weaving forum and not even holding one BitCorn.

okay, fair enough.

I'm interested as to your explanation of atmospheric pressure. I'm also willing to accept the justification that you know it's not gravity in the traditional sense (round earth), but you don't know what would actually cause it because there hasn't been enough research done on it. So within this closed system, temperature differentials between the surface of the "flat" earth and the supposed ceiling are what cause air pressure. While I can agree with this strictly in relation to water vapor, yet only partially as there is no "building" of pressure in the atmosphere, this does not explain the *air* pressure, as these are two separate things. That being said, if you believe that we exist within a closed system, this is easily explainable, as the air pressure could just have been set at a specific value when the chamber was initially built. Then again, you did just say it was your guess, so I suppose by your own admission, you are not entirely qualified to answer this question, which I accept.

So, beyond this enclosed space, which I assume you conceptualize as hemispherical, what exists? This is the question that intrigues me the most. If you do not know or have a decent theory, then just say so. I would highly prefer a reasonable explanation rather than a ham fisted mess of logic.

here's where people start having internal conflicts about this whole thing, i will admit that it all sounded crazy to me until i really read for myself
the bible lays all of this out, but people miss that because they don't read the bible literally, because they believe the sun-centric universe model(and subsequently the big bang and evolution) that's been spoonfed to them for centuries, they think these theories are proof against creationism
they are also turned away from the bible entirely by religion, which has been co-opted and used by the same people shilling the globe lie
in short the globe belief and belief in "Science" is a religion
i digress, sorry about that
the point i'm trying to make is that i believe the biblical cosmology because the things i can answer by observation prove this to be true
the things i can't answer, i leave the bible to answer, because of it's track record of being right

Radio signal to digital signal processing takes fractions of a second. Tell me what evidence you have to suggest that there was *zero* lag involved. A second and a half is pretty damn close to real time for all intents and purposes. The only way you could possibly prove there were no lag is if you had an atomic clock both on the moon and on the earth both performing the exact same process at the exact same time and measure each one’s beginning and end. Does nobody take the time to realize and appreciate the astounding truth of everything around us? That anything exists at all? Why it is the way it is? The ancient Greeks would have KILLED to know 0.1% of what every high school graduate knows today. They were born in a world where nothing was explained. They didn’t know about photons, electrons, gravity, space-time, black holes, time dilation, quantum mechanical uncertainty... you get the point. There's a theory that believing in conspiracies fulfils a similar need to what being religious does. People struggle to accept that the universe could be as chaotic and random as it is so they invent some powerful entity or collection of entities that must be responsible for everything. There's always a grand plan and a hidden hand manipulating the world towards a vision, whether that hand belongs to God or the illuminati.

2. No irrefutable evidence has ever surfaced of a “creator”. The closest thing that could even suggest that is the Big Bang, which I’m sure you don’t believe in.

But what about those animals that had the slightest gene mutation at birth that is responsible for creating immunity to said disease? Who survives then out of the whole species? The ones with the mutation. Then guess what? They fuck and make more animal babies and boom they’re born with their parents’ immunity. Wahla. No you definitely have a point! The creation of DNA is very interesting indeed, especially since it cropped up so fast. But then again, carbon forms more compounds than all other elements combined. Mix in some elemental ingredients, add some energy via deep sea vents or whatever it was, and give it a few tens of millions of years. Which is still a very very very long time. I believe it was possible to self assemble. And considering it happened in the blink of an eye compared to the 2.5 billion year wait for multi-cellular life to form, it must not be as unlikely as it seems. Definitely some food for thought though.

dude, they could buy a commercial grade telescope and see satellites yet they still claim they aren't real.
They could take a vacation to Antarctica for a few thousand dollars and explore it for weeks yet they claim it is under constant surveillance and inaccessible.

They'll still deny the curvature of the earth when there are Virgin Galactic customers live streaming it over Facebook.

If there were some global umbrella conspiracy to conceal the curvature of the earth then there would not be a private company offering to take everyday consumers to a height where the curvature can be indisputably proven with the naked eye.

One of the things it seems I see a lot in people who are anti-evolution or anti-(scientific theory/principle) is a misunderstanding of what science actually is, and what the theory they're arguing against is saying.

The theory of evolution doesn't claim that life was spontaneously created or explain why certain things evolved. It does, however, give us an amazing tool for understanding relationships between animals. So many behaviours and weird quirks can be explained through an evolutionary model. The laryngeal nerve, chromosome 2. We see evolution in virus populations and we've observed speciation in the lab. The theory fits well with our understanding of dna and geology. Even certain behaviours can be, at least partially, explained through evolution.

When you just wave your hands and say God did it, that it's just a coincidence or put in on purpose to confuse us then you lose a bunch of insight into the world around you. I think that's kind of sad
