I had very similar scores until an inactive account from 2013 closed and set me down 100 points. Talk about kikery.

I have no real credit score. Zero credit history. No loans, no lines of credit, ever. I had a phone bill once upon a time, which apparently was enough to get me in the system with a tentative score of 543* (*not enough data for accurate score, please fill out this information for us).

I’m working on getting my score to “0.” Meaning you’ve paid off all your debts and you close all your accounts and refuse anything on credit.

It shows up as.

>t. currently making double payments on $22,000 in loans from a car accident and investing in [redacted]; will it reach 800?

I wish I would have gamed this system when I was younger by paying off redundant <$1000 loans and paying them off every few months making triple or quadruple payments. It's easy to dismiss having good credit for the jewish conspiracy it actually is but the effect it has on your interest rates when it comes to any and every kind of loan you might want-or even need-shouldn't be disregarded.

>>14695420
That's brutal. I have an old "Bank of America" card I think I used like twice and it's probably been a decade or more since. I don't even know where it is lol. I wonder if that'll happen to me at some point.

>>14695456
I lived as a ascetic in a similar manner for most of my life-it was only until I got older that I realized a good credit score is well worth pursuing as long as you're strategic about it. Like I said above if I could go back to my late teens I'd have taken out small loans and just made good-sized payments on them to minimize interest while still building the nose frens' trust and reaping the myriad benefits.

Seriously, if you don't have a credit score it will cost you a lot more money in the end if you ever want or need to take a loan out for ANY reason, including medical if you're american like me

>>14695580
Noice. Do you think I'll be able to push an 800 score if I pay off my $22,000 debt or are you a whale?

>> No.14695937

>>14695633
I'm not a whale. Average age of my cards should be around 15 years old, but I canceled one of my oldest cards like an idiot. That dropped me down to almost 700 from around 810-815 and I'm finally coming back years later.

What's your score now?

I'd recommend you increase your limit (since your CC usage [e.g. % of utilization on a card] is a high impact factor in determining your score).

Pay off your card each month, keep your usage limit down, pay off any loans, and you should be able to get that score up quite a bit.

Oh and don't cancel your oldest cards if you have any. If they have a fee, then downgrade them to one w/o a fee.

Post in the op is mine so 740~. Both of my loans have a minimum payment just over 200 and I've been paying 400 on each every month. I'm hoping to get them paid off late next year and take out a big business loan the following year-but I want a healthy looking score at or near 800 by that point so I can get the most favorable terms possible.

About to get a personal loan.
Pls r8.

>> No.14696116

Mine's utter trash because my parents took out a student loan in my name when I was 17 and then never informed me, gave me mail addressed to me, or paid on it themselves for months which tanked my score into the 500's IIRC and I had never opened my own line of credit prior. So I won't have a shot at a good credit score until I'm about 30 now. I appealed to the credit whatever but they said no dice.

I don't think I could manage that many bills honestly. IMHO a single personal loan is the way to go. Just borrow money you don't need and use the loan to pay the loan off

I pump and dump myself. Spend a bunch of money wait for monthly statement to post. Credit drops bc of over utilization. Pay off next month. Score goes up higher than before. I was in the low 600s 2 years ago. Fuck credit scores tho. Only matters when you want to buy a house.
