Have a feeling GALT may release a PR about their addition to the Russell 2000 tomorrow (they were added to the Russell in 2014 and issued a PR on July 9th, they usually release news on Tuesdays, and there was a little spike with a lot of small block trades in the last hour or so)
It won't be a significant catalyst, any spike that comes from it would be short term and temporary, though it could be useful in the context of BO negotiations to make the premium the acquiring company is paying relative to the current market cap of the company lower, thereby making it look like a better deal
We're looking for one of the following with GALT

>approved phase 3 trial (NASH-RX) protocol
>results from extension/expansion cohort in the Keytruda combo trial
>IO partnership
>buyout

This is all that's relevant right now in terms of the company's fundamentals

But if the central bank acts quick enough, if can postpone such a crisis by cutting interest rates very quickly. That's what happened in 1998-2000.

Stocks right now are extremely over valued. They are more expensive than they were in 1929. But they aren't more expensive than they were in the year 2000, so given the right conditions stocks could progress upwards in a manic fashion for another 20%-30%.

What's everyone listening for when Powell speaks? Any key words gonna activate your mental algorithms to BUY or SELL anything in particular? Set up an order for SQQQ and TQQQ and just hover with your cursor until the moment of truth?

It was two posts about a speculative hedge against the market. Do you also freak out when people post about forex and gold? How about when people talk about buying bonds when the yield curve inverts?

I get the hate for crypto, I really do. I never would have gotten involved if it weren't for Robinhood making it easy as shit.

But it's not exactly irrelevant, and being a purist isn't helpful. Believe it or not, 2 of the past 5 RKG's had good crypto speculation posts.

And it's extremely relevant due to the capital flight narrative, the TINA™ conversation where bond yields are shit, and the massive uncertainty in the markets.

So no real fundamental reasoning? Like at all? There's got to be something in the works with them, I just don't know what it could be at this point until they're allowed to sell interstate. Even with the law passed here in Oregon, there needs to be a state that can legally receive it and the feds have to sign off on it.

Amount you would like to live off/4% will get you a figure that you should have for retirement. It's not hard. Assuming 12% returns, you double your money every 6 years with no additional capital so gathering good capital is what you should focus on. After that compounding will take care of it

Actually you can maybe try out cheaper countries to live in for a few months, and then hopping onto the next one. Cost of living in cheaper countries is significantly lower, while quality of life may not be. Vietnam, Thailand, central/eastern european countries are all nice. That will bring down your cost of living by a huge margin.
