It won't because it's being outcompeted. Ever since BTC hit it's throughput ceiling it's dominance has fallen. Mining will be completely unprofitable after the next halving or two. If the price doubles you'll just have more miners chasing less profit. The effect being miners going out of business and the security dropping. Unlike on BSV where a 1.6 GB block nets 28BSV in fees.
