this is probably the dumbest question you'll ever read on /biz/ but
i am a complete crypto noob but i was given 107 linkies about a year and 2 months ago, i made a binance acc just for it, i have just kept it there and havent even logged into the binance account since the day it was given, and today i checked it and suddenly i do not have nearly 400$ in link, but instead i have 75$ in btc

i looked in all of my transaction histories and NOTHING has happened since the day it was given. why did it change it to btc?? is this something binance does (you put so and so amount of dollars worth of anything and it automatically keeps it at the amount's worth and transfers it to btc?) i literally have not done anything with or to the account since the day i made it. why did this happen? does anyone know ???

It tells you the equivalent btc value of your coins and tokens added up. The individual tokens are below that in a list.

Check your order history (if chinknance goes back that far) and see if there was ever a link>btc trade created. If you can verifiably prove it wasn't you that made the trade I'd contact binance (but don't expect them to care about your lunch money).

Just buy back in now and try to forget about it for another year and you'll have a cool 'new-car' stack.
