Basically what you need to do is:

Stop telling yourself you hate your job. Just do your fucking job and be good at it. Don't be a slacker, make your boss proud even if you hate his guts. Just do it, I'm serious this will help you.

If you have addictions fuck all of them. If you can't quit right now, today, then you never will.

Start working out if you're not already. Working out will make you feel fulfilled, you sleep better and your self esteem will grow to the point where your "soul starts to shine" and everyone can feel it.

Stop looking down at other wagecucks in your workplace. Do you think they want to be there? You should feel bad for them and try to help whenever possible. You are not better than them no matter what you might think. Treat everyone with respect even if they are disrespectful towards you.

Stop thinking you're going to make it in the future somehow and concentrate on the things you can change right now. These things being:

The way you treat other people.
The way you feel about your "boring" life. It's literally what you make of it.
The way you feel about your work. Just fucking do your job until you can upgrade. Stop being whiny bitch.
Put everything you can afford in projects you believe have a future. DYOR. Don't listen to /biz even though LINK made it, especially now that LINK made it people here will take advantage of you.

Do all of this. Most importantly learn to ENJOY your work and learn to ENJOY helping people. For the love of god stop looking down at them. Stop thinking you HATE your job. Turn your thought patterns POSITIVE and keep at it for a few weeks to a month and I promise you will feel so much better about yourself and the future.

I can't believe it took me so fucking long to understand what it means when they say change starts from within. It's the fucking truth. And right now you are exactly where you want to be in life. Your choices have led you right at this moment.
