How can I pairs trade SPXS and SPXL, do I just buy one on its red day and sell it on green days?

Does some more complicated strategy exist for this, also how do I know if it wont just go red again the next day?

Wait until NYSE open at 6:30AM Eastern time. Watch to see if it crashes. If yes, buy when it bottoms out and starts to rebound, sell on the rebound later in the day. Tomorrow (Monday) works best because weekend after-hours trades go through.

So using Friday as an example you would have seen SPXL going down pre-market then waited for it to crash which it did around 10 am and sold it later at 10:30 or so when it rebounded. Is that right?

Is day trading the only option, can you hold it and sell it later the next day if its green or is that not always guaranteed?

is this pretty much guaranteed profits? how much do you typically make in a day?
