Ethereum Classic has lots of development. Why aren't you going all in?

Wasn't this 51% attacked last year?

ETC is still alive. If a coin can survive a major attack like Bitcoin and Mt Gox, then ETC can easily survive this

as long as it shares a mining algorithm with ethereum it will be vulnerable to 51% attacks

The fact is: why should i buy this and not Eth or other coins?
They are all doing poor performance

Rumor has it that Vitalik has long been planning to leave ETH to join Ethereum Classic. I mean he did invent Ethereum Classic, it was his original project before he moved to ETH

>> No.14569036

>>14568930

Thing is fork coins are all dead. If they are better the original chain would just adopt the technology and move on. Since there is vastly more people and money invested in the original chain. This is why ETC, BCH, etc. slowly bleed over time and have no value besides for riding pump and dumps.

>> No.14569103

Do more research, ETC is the original chain. Ethereum (ETH) is the fork. ETH forked because it wanted to reverse transactions due to a hack

>> No.14569122

>PoW

Oh geez.

>> No.14569204

>>14569103

Doesn't matter. There is 50x more people and money invested into ETH. If any feature in ETC is worth using it will just be implemented it in ETH. The only people buying ETC are shitcoin gamblers chasing pump and dumps and retards who missed the boat and are buying lottery tickets thinking a flippening could ever happen.

Thanks for the FUD, wait till Vitalik joins ETC

Is it possible to interact with the TheDao contact still for a refund?
I left my coins there after the fork

>> No.14569359

Here is what I found

>All The DAO token holders with a non-zero token balance at block 1,919,999 on the Ethereum Classic (ETC) chain are entitled to this refund

>> No.14569400

Thanks, I hope it's still possible
I read that the WhiteHat Group made a deadline of January 2018 to get a refund
