1) i never actually destroyed the pk as i have countless backups naturally
2) your shamir key part is not a real part it doesn't do anything i kept the actual part and you have no way to verify this unless you have 2 parts
3) the trustee colludes with me (because she is my wife) and you get screwed over and never see your money back
4) you die and basically just gave me $250k and i will deny this nonsense to ever happened or make a btc transaction at the moment of your death and claim it was to the address you specified (it's mine of course) and tell your family they need to search for the private key and you can sue all you want you can't ever prove anything.

and that's just the most obvious way i'm sure i could come up with a few more to screw you over with this retarded scheme.

a proper multisig solution with a trustee that can actually be trusted (because he is a public figure / organization for one and it's pocket money for him on the other) my ability to screw you over is almost nonexistent. anyone involved in cryptography know this intimately well.

At the time Craig was dealing with a rogue tax agent at the ATO, he was afraid that all his bitcoin would be seized by the Australian government, they had all ready raided his properties looking for keys
