We’re almost done reviewing the tech powering #Fantom - it's truly spectacular. Has someone eaten #Hashgraph’s lunch before they could even release to the public? We love the fact that Fantom remains committed to launching a permissionless decentralized ledger. #FTM #HBAR

Most obvious moonshot after LINK, if they don't mess up mainnet this is easily a multi billion dollar project.

Onlay - Consensus as service
Staking - Circ. supply spread across chains
EVM compatible

So basically we have 1 supply (3.175.000.000 FTM tokens) that will be used across multiple mainnets, with different staking requirements?:

Andre Cronje
And reward systems yes, so each dapp is incentivized to try and "lure" the best validators by providing the best rewards

Monatoka:
Will all the validator nodes be split up among the different mainnets? I believe there can only be a limited number of validator nodes.

Andre Cronje:
That's configurable on each mainnet (or rather each deployment)

woukie:
wait i don't understand

There will be multiple mainnets ?

Michael Chen:
Yes — people can deploy separate Fantom chains, and the idea is to move FTM into those chains for usage.

Is that right @andrecronje?

Andre Cronje:
Essentially, each deployment is a bespoke system, basically a dapp

My balls are 100k deep so far. Considering going deeper...

So the fantom equivalent of ETH dApps which use different ERC20 tokens will instead need to use native FTM to secure/pay network fees.

FTM needs to be bought, staked and used not only for the fantom opera chain (mainnet) but also for all fantom based projects.

Imagine the squeeze on supply.
