So I don’t get it, what was the recent FUD w Docusign. Also clause isn’t a fucking oracle provider so who is gonna do the oracles and why can’t they just announce a partnership why are they hesitating so much. Clearly they care more than Just digitizing the contract

>> No.14508353

>>14508303
Ya this is a good point. I mean we literally have 5 nodes up and running that’s it. We need to be further along to integrate. That’s why they announced mainnet so abruptly I’m asssuming. We’rr Behind where we need to be.

so, Peter Hunn and Dan Selman have repeatedly stated on twitter that they are just not that focused on the oracle problem right now.

This is actually Steven Ehrlich, the writer, noting that one of the challenges for smart contract adoption is getting good data into and out of smart contracts.

But clause is not focused on that problem atm. See, e.g. the point about how their software can run on blockchain or non-blockchain platform.

They're saying that Link is not very useful if anything, because there are other more feature complete solutions of this kind.
>>14508373
Microsoft has literally created their Chainlink before Chainlink, it's called Coco and it's getting some use but it's not very popular as enterprise tends to go with proprietary solutions for such simple things. There's -100% chance Microsoft would ever invest in their own sub par competition.

>This basically suggests that they're working with Link, but that Link is currently insufficient to meet their needs

Honestly I don't think it does. I do not think they are working with link at the moment. I think they are taking a different approach.

See also, the point that link is no longer listed on the accord project website. Accord is a nonprofit started by clause.

I am NOT fudding. I do not think this is a big deal one way or the other for chainlink.

Right now the important question is not clause, but whether chainlink is working with ISDA and Digital Asset. We know chainlink is working with google. And we know that google cloud team is working with Digital Asset and ISDA.

shut up dumb fuck I am not fudding link. If you don't know what is going on with clause/accord and chainlink and what Peter Hunn has called "enforcement of state" vs "self executing" then you are a dumb shit and need to shut up because the adults are talking.

no it would not and this shows lack of imagination.

First major use case is derivatives, then insurance. Docusign has basically fuck all to do with either of those at the level that matters.

Chainlink literally solves all of their little roadblocks
>which platforms it will run on
Ethereum and literally any other blockchain
>first use cases and initial set of customers
Selling data using 50 start ups handpicked by ORACLE
>scalability issues
End signatures
>accessibility
Literally lightweight, easy to use and again blockchain agnostic
>security problems
It'll be decentralized but until then the node operators will be handpicked by the team through kyc
Are they purposely being retarded? They're larping right? Accord project is still partnered with chainlink and docusign founder is still an adviser. Are they just testing Sergey?

when you google docusign, you get a bunch of reddit/forum posts with people looking for free alternatives to docusign, and there seems to be a lot of them out there that works just as good if not better. why is this docusign connection so valuable to linkers when theres so many free digital signature alternatives? is the future of docusign really so bright?
