it's been remarkably stable (ranging between $1.00 and $2.00) since november which means all sources of selling (ico investor, bear market, robbers, scam exchange c2cx) have been exhausted.
only 15m supply, most of which is no longer on exchanges but in user wallets earning Coin Hours (SCH), a parallel currency for use in the Skycoin ecosystem which is about to IEO on LBank.
binance have 4.5m SKY left in their cold wallet and that's about it. this means it will moon like fuck with a slight uptick in demand

as for the project itself. it's very hard to get across the scale/scope of this in a few lines, but here's a flavor:
>in development since 2013
>decentralized internet (Skywire) - mesh network with over 10000 nodes (twice as many as TOR) already operational globally
>programming language (CX) - makes smart contracts obsolete and integrates with blockchains to create immutable dapps
>fast/free transactions (3 seconds)
>parallel currency (Coin Hours) - earned every hour by holding SKY in the Wallet, for use in the Skycoin ecosystem (Skywire access, games, gambling etc.) and separate exchange listings
>platform (Fiber) - every project gets its own blockchain, an infinitely scalable network laid side by side, like strands
>$2.00 / 15m in circulation / $30m mcap
>binance listed

yes, although the term mining is a bit of a misnomer. best bet is to join the Skywire telegram
>As it currently stands, the testnet generates you 2.838 Skycoin per a node, per a month, up to 8 nodes, last payout being just over 22 Skycoin for the month. And they consume barely any power, it’s rated for about 100w. When the Mainnet is released, the payout scheme will be based on utilization, you will get paid for the bandwidth that is used on your Skyminer. But for now, testnet pays out well and you’re helping make the project a reality, that’s what’s really awesome.

by accumulating SCH you're speculating that the Skycoin ecosystem will have value. their primary use case is to incentivise people (Skyminers) to provide bandwidth/storage for Skywire by running nodes, and a monetary value having been established can also be used for gaming/gambling etc. on dapps programmed in CX and hosted on the Skycoin blockchain, or in webstores or whatever else

i went into telegram for the first time in months yesterday, and holy shit what a disaster. they dont even try to pretend its not a ponzi anymore.

synth already scammed and drove away anybody that was ever trying to build anything or contribute to the ecosystem. its literally just african teenagers, ponzi boomers, and pajeets left in telegram.

i guess sudo is trying to pretend he quit the team or something? lol. a narcissist like that would never give up power so easily. he clearly just made a new telegram account under a new name, and is trying to behave himself for as long as he can. he knows he ruined the community.

now do that for the rest. everyone knows almost all volume everywhere is bots. that's a key point as to why SKY is better placed than most projects which exist only to move tokens around. most of its trading volume represents actual users who keep their Skycoins in their wallets. if you're not willing to use "shady chink exchanges" then stick with BTC or build something better

Consensus while in development is called a "masternode", there's a huge difference between that and a standard server application.

Obelisk, which is one of many consensus methods being developed will be released after Skywire is in mainnet.

that's more like it.

Unless Lbank is distributing coinhours to skycoin holders it changes nothing for traders on Binance. You must be grossly overestimating the initial value of coinhours to expect an influx of users that will make Binance even blink. The value of not having to wait 40hours for a withdrawal and having actual order book depth outweighs whatever delusions you have.
