Imagine how much money you could've had if you would've saved your school lunch money or only spent half of it since elementary school. I got $5 a day for lunch in Elementary and $8 a day in HS.

I got free lunch.
I sold my free lunch tickets for a dollar each.
Then I bought gold coins my buddy stole from his dad's coin collection for $15-$20 cash.
after that I sold the gold coins to a coin shop that apparently didn't think it was suspicious that a 12 year old had a pile of gold coins.
I made hundreds of dollars and got very hungry.

I also had my first felony on my record by the time I was 14. And I didn't wind up with any money even though I made thousands.

Free lunch. If my parent had 5$ to give me daily growing up I would have done what they did and then tried to do better than that. Why don't you have 5$ or whatever to give your hypothetical child money like they gave you? Oh wait. The real thought to twist your noodle on was why aren't you making that money lost back then and make it now when you still can. Or what would you have even done with that money?
