While i agree that there is a need for a more stable price i think it will be clear this week.

In a few hours as people wake up and the btc networks start to operate at 100% the true state of the market will be seen.

I think we will surpass the ath sooner than expected this bullrun should not be happening now that's for sure it should be happening in may next year yet here we are.

Miners can't do shit to reduce the price 6b is insignificant at this point for the market.

It's all about whales , shorts and shit like that speculating , but if localbitcoin statistics are true and there is a lack of supply of btc in the market we will see a bullrun soon.

well hello that's my problem if this goes to $20k without several major corrections it fucks up everything and all ends in blood and tears and a prolonged bear market with a great probability.

>don't get why you say that

Because miners selling represents the minimum ammount of money that needs to enter into bitcoin to prevent the price from collapsing.

That's 20m per day to keep the price stable 20m+ to grow.

Obviously whales and others sell , but the miners are the constant inflation of btc as they need to sell to pay electricity while whales can save if they want.

>that is why any argument about btc can't go lower than xy is bullshit (among other things) it can go wherever speculators take it.

Add 22m per day of money into btc and you can be 100% sure that bitcoin price will not fall unless a whale do a massive dump which is retarded pre halving.

Let's assume that today the halving happens , now the miners earn 900 btc per day.

So now the market needs to buy more than 10m per day to keep btc stable and more than 10m+ to grow.

no you don't get it... if the price dippedd here in the summer and started to ramp up in the fall just in time for the pre halving mania to hit which would have taken us to these levels only to dip slightly below $10k at the halving as the mania lessens and then up to $100k after.

but this if it goes to $20k in the summer and crashes and takes us to a prolonged bear market the pre halving mania will get the price from $2k to $4k and then it's all fucked.

this b-wave rally right now is the stupidest thing ever. it either slows down and passes $20k measured in the fall or crashes in the summer. those are the two bullish scenarios everything else is fucked.

Yes and that means reducing the supply even more because they know the halving will raise prices and it's better to take debt now and pay after.

That will only trigger the bullrun early which is perhaps what is happening now and why all of the sudden the btc supply is collapsing in localbitcoins(while usd demand is s table).

Also you have to take into account the game theory if miners don't sell the price goes up and so the usage of btc as people fomo and so the difficulty and so does the electric usage forcing them to sell.

That said "the halving mania" as you call if you check the charts is usually 3x from the bottom from a year before the halving to the halving date and then the bullrun starts a year after the halving.

We are already 4x the bottom more or less and 320 days from the halving, the mania is clearly there and those that hold btc for this halving will not sell until late 2020 or 2021 if they are smart.

I suppose it was emotionally and materialistic.
