Is it a good time to swap to link or should I just stay in eth?

>> No.14496378

Vitalik says one ether shouldn't be worth more than 30 dollars or Ethereum will become unusable.

>> No.14496416

>on the one hand, there is a tremendous amount of excitement driving LINK, while ETH is widely seen as a scam-engine that's already long-past its glory days and in danger of breaking down the bearish pattern vis-a-vis BTC in which it's wallowed for the last 6 months
>on the other hand, LINK's already pumped a shitload and seems overdue for an extended cool-off, while ETH is basically at a 2-year low in terms of its sat value
its a fucking gamble, mate. just do what feels right.

Swap with Ethereum Classic

>> No.14496630

Don't listen to these desperate shitcoiners.

ETH is a solid hold and it'll be shooting up in the BTC ratio, after lagging because of BTC mooning.

Money always goes BTC to ETH to ALTS. Everyone knows this, which is why it'll continue. There's some lag time for correction in between but the next market boom will be boosting up ETH more than anything else.

Have fun holding shitcoins while they ALL fall relative to ETH, just like how everything fell relative to BTC on its rise to 14K.

You don't need any sauce. It's already unusable at the current price when each contract call costs you more than 1 dollar.

Imagine giving a fuck how much some gay anime meme video game charges for breeding

Imagine thinking that a DEX overcharging for a trade is the fault of the token they use to charge fees and not the fault of the DEX for failing to adjust their rates

>> No.14496841

>>14496805
> adjusting rate
uh what?
the gas consumption is based on the complexity of the contract call
transaction fee = gas consumed x gas price
and gas price is directly effected by network throughput and the fiat value of ethereum
today etheruem is worth 300 dollars, people have to pay 1 dollars for sending ethers
when ethereum rises to 600 dollars, people will have to pay 2 dollars under the same network throughput

>> No.14496898

>>14496767
As am I and If this was true the average transaction fee would be directly related to price, but it’s not. Not to mention price of transaction will drop dramatically on beacon chain

ETH can function as a digital currency better than BTC. Still costs way less to send ETH than BTC. BTC is supposedly the "digital currency" of the future. It is a pretty poor representation of what blockchain can do. People are working on ETH seriously and trying to improve it. Nothing is really being done for bitcoin.

>> No.14497329

Reminder that 50/50 in ETH/BTC is the most sure way to make it. We're still early adopters and BTC will absolutely hit $1M in a decade or two.

What the fuck are you complaining about USD for then. ETH inflation is fucking ridiculous.
