No anon, you fail to look at the bigger picture here. The bigger things you send to the outer space, the bigger risk it becomes. The bigger the rocket, the more risk it is to space debris and garbage that's been traveling in our atmosphere at a speed of a railgun. Even a debris the size of an AAAA battery could punch through rockets since most rockets are made up of light metals.

A company like SpaceX could build rockets that could be immune to these debris, however they must be a size seven times bigger than the Big Ben. You need nuclear-powered fuel to make the huge thing fly. The even bigger problem is that if it fails during the flight it will fall like a miniature asteroid and if it falls to the Atlantic Ocean, it will create a huge tidal wave enough to wipe out half of Europe or wipe out the entire New York state.

It's a dangerous work anon, that could lead the destruction of the entire planet. I work at a company supplying metal parts to NASA and the guys working at NASA told me that the standard rockets being launched right now is the limit, and if they make it bigger it could kill the entire planet if it falls into the ground like a fly.

The mistake is assuming that the drilling equipment is going to be as big as a BMW. Space miners are gonna have to be small and work as a swarm. As fucking sick as it'd be to have a giant fuckin drill plow through an asteroid, it's not yet feasible. Besides, NASA's big problem with the JWST isn't just size, it's fragility of the reflectors.
