My job pays $200k per year

Always worried I'm gonna get fired, I don't think my team lead thinks I'm very good at what I do, has complained about my productivity in official performance review

Seems like I'm just squeaking by

Maybe time to look for another job

Need $5m to retire in NYC, otherwise I would have to move

I turn 30 in a month

I might just move to a cheap area and vacation for the next year while working on a startup, or move in with my mom. Have spent less about a month total with my mom in the past six years, since I moved to NYC

Have met my grandparents, aunt's, uncle's twice since then

Have met my brother three times since then

But I'm afraid that I don't know how to manage such a large amount of money. Suddenly paranoid I will fuck up and lose it all.

I am not living in the states but as far as I know that 1mil is not a huge deal and not enough to retire in any state.
Even the 2.5/5 houses start at 450k dollars there. What are you going to do with rest of your money? Are you going to go for the funds? Or you gonna buy rental properties? If you could start a "start up" you could do that before turning to "30". Dude don't risk your money with that kinda shit. If you have a brilliant idea you might go for it but idk it's risky. I'd say with a small proportion of your money keep investing. It's easy to invest nowadays. You can trade on your phone. Spare 10k dollars and go for a south america and eastern europoor tour. spend that money with hot chicks and drink some great cocktails. You deserved it. Do this after quiting your job. Btw if you have 401k bullshit withdraw your money I know there is a penalty but take your money back. And put 350k to funds. I'm not sure you are not a faggot and just kidding with us but I wish you the best man. Spend some time with your parents, respect the elderly people. Live your life bro.
