The year is 20XX. Old time link marines are widely known as wise men in a modern age. With their genius intellect, free time, and excessive means, the linkers enjoy spending their time ushering in a bright future for their fellow man.

For a long while, world peace was achieved, and even those that failed to buy into link were thankful for the state of man and the generosity of their leaders. Disease, hunger, financial distress, pollution and abusive authority figures already seemed a thing of the distant past. It feels like people smile more these days. Families are closer. Life has meaning.

I remember when the world didn't feel this way. When I was younger, I saw struggle everywhere between those with power and those without. I have seen the future promised to you, reader. A glorious, inevitable future.

Things are moving too fast. I remember 2019 like it was yesterday, the excitement on my fellow anons and the posts from those that held throughout it all, withstanding the temptation of wealth for an opportunity of something greater; a chance to ascend to a new tier of means. A chance to sculpt the future of mankind. I wonder if these are the Order of Delphi in these days, azzblaster, whalekiller, 42, LINKKVLT, and others that believed so steadfastly... that evangelized to thousands; spreading the word and creating some small number of linkers that were lucky enough to join the ascension. I can't know, even during an era of peace and prosperity these old legends never came out of the shadows for fear of the consequences.

This is why I write to you today. In the not-too-distant future, linkers will be in danger. Underground groups of hidden image boards have become corrupted, desperate to reset the status quo by any means necessary. These groups call themselves Execmobors, descendants and recruits of modern day iExec, Mobius, and Oracalize. These groups are extremely violent and dangerous, fueled by a hope that resetting the world may mean a new chance for their inferior oracle services. Heed my words: you must protect your linkers. The linkers of 20XX are the most positive influencers of society, and they're hunted down by the Execmobors relentlessly, sometimes simply out of envy and spite.

There will come a time when the linkers unite and come out of hiding to stand as one with the world's population to usher in a more civilized era. You must protect them! Only you have the means, people of /r/linktrader! This is the only group of people in the world that can protect the future of mankind. Make it your mission to inform the uninformed, help those in need, and, if necessary, defend the linkers with your life. There is life after death for those that see 7777777. There are those in the world even today that are growing to despise the linkers.

You must not underestimate the power of positive thought, we are all in this together.
