I'm talking suit and tie, dealing with numbers and money, investment banking, stock brokerage, stuff in that vein

Hours are more important to me than money
I DEMAND my weekends, sundays included
It would be even better if I could work less than 40 hours per week, I'm thinking about in the distant future moving to one of those European countries where apparently that's the norm, and they get summer breaks and everything

In case I was too vague, I'm asking about what jobs exist that are like this, what major should I do, etc

Yes. If you want to work in finance and make six figures you will have to work more like 45 hours a week. White collar America is generally not 9 to 5.

Since fucking when? All my life people have told me that 8 hours per day, 5 days per week is the default, standard, amount of time

I feel like stock brokerage is the type of job I'd like the most going purely off the nature of the job itself, as in what its like while doing it, but I don't know if the hours would be acceptable or not, I was thinking about investment banking but after some research I'd non ironically rather live on welfare
