id like to thank this 4chan community for shilling link, i bought at roughly 44 cents, i swallowed my pride and bought a pretty good amount, to the m00n boys. $125/Link peak euphoria?

I’m selling at 60$ - the first peak predicted by AB, and at the edge of plausible link/mcap scenarios on that chart.

This is a great day though

AB price predictions are irrelevant now. That was so long ago. We've learned so much more about the project. I think even he would take those price predictions back.
Even then you have to remember that he said they were "very conservative" valuations.

I say this with genuine love in my heart,please take profits on the way up. Learn from my mistakes (and others').

I've been involved since damn near the beginning. I mined an unknown amount of BTC when CPU mining was a thing -- left my shitty old computer running (new at the time) overnight. I bought and sold BTC, but always thought it would be a bubble. I exited at $600 thinking I had surely hit the top, and left with a few grand and a smile. Two years later I felt like a retard.

I knew ETH was the next big one, and I bought my first stack at $7, then $40. I didn't trust my gut though, and went in with a half measure. I bought all the way up past $400, and I held it from $1400 alllll the way down to $80, never taking profit like a retard.

Learn from my mistakes. Take profits. My plan is 10% at $10, 10% at $100, $200, $300, then up to $1000. Here are the numbers from doing that:

Total Cashout Remaining Worth
$ 5.00 $ 52,500.00 $ 472,500.00
$ 10.00 $ 147,000.00 $ 850,500.00

$ 75.00 $ 1,259,028.75 $ 4,650,108.75
$ 100.00 $ 1,879,043.25 $ 5,580,130.50
$ 200.00 $ 2,995,069.35 $ 10,044,234.90
$ 300.00 $ 4,501,704.59 $ 13,559,717.12

$ 500.00 $ 8,343,624.43 $ 18,305,618.11

I did hold with ETH, but I held all the way to the bottom. There will be another correction eventually -- be it in a month or 5 years. With LINK by then it may not matter, in fairness.

Trying to figure out what the lessons are here.
1. If an asset is holding its value during a bear market, it's not because the market forgot about it, its because they feel safe with the asset.
1.a Volume is a good indicator normally, but *temporary* reduced volume after a crash is normal.
2. Price rises and falls may react to news instantly, but usually have a delay or happen over a time period.
3. Chase pumps on trusted assets???

I might be too old to take advantage of this new wisdom, since tech cycles are so long. I've probably read this in investment books before but it doesn't really set in until you experience it first hand.
