Round 2

i know it wasn't a larp last time after the walmart thing. why did sunny retweet that 4.88 was a buying opp? he cost me over $100k with his x node lockup scam shit, will it ever recover? or are they just handing out free vet to any company so they can generate their own vthor?

>> No.14422189

>>14422160
Because he is looking at the long term value. 4.88 = 0.0488 after token split. Still a long way to go, but it will get there easily.

>> No.14422199

So, the last AMA was definitively a LARP. Didn't know who the coming announcement was, despite it being the biggest job VeChain has worked on, and claimed that VeChain didn't have any big partnerships, but just hyped and inflated small ones.

>i know it wasn't a larp last time after the walmart thing.
It wasn't OP who posted the Walmart reveal in the last thread. OP said he didn't knoe who the partner was.

>>14422148
VeChain just passe ETH in daily transactions. The thor burn has surpassed THOR production. Will this trend continue or is it just temporary? And at what point is VET a good investment? If the price of VTHO was to stay where it is, I could see that point being soon. But apparently VeChain thinks the cost is too expensive.

This describes it well:

> “We have currently not made the [Authority Node holder] list publically available and we get a lot of heat for that, a lot of people say because we are Proof of Authority the reputation of the businesses should be public knowledge. We are maybe a little too centralized in that regard in that we keep that list private. For security reasons we don’t want the known entities – [the entities] are known to the Foundation but they are not known to the general public because we don’t want to draw attention to who those node holders are, because there are only 101 of them, which that number is somewhat arbitrary, but [we need to] still consider the security risk and the regulatory risk and that a lot of the regulatory environment is still somewhat hostile to crypto ownership and some businesses are a little hesitant to go public because they don’t want to be exposed to regulatory risk.’

They are going to reveal them. My best guess would be during the late phase of the bull run

Um you can view the TXs through Walmart's ToolChain app and reference the hash on the blockchain. It's def real usage. Whether all the VeThor was provided free or not is a question, but at this rate just Walmart alone is eating into the generated Vethor supply and its not even rolled out fully

nope, they compare "clauses" to ethereum transactions. "Clauses" are just contract calls ("internal transactions" on etherscan).
The actual number of transactions is 18.7k.

Isn't the idea behind VEN that only the top nodes get actual rewards while all the tiny node brainlets get shit and just assume VET will skyrocket

>> No.14424764

OP - I got suckered into becoming an early VET bag holder and currently hold an economic X node. With your observations regarding these nodes, it confirms my fears that the X node program was engineered to sucker in early investors with large investments.

With that, the X node pool is depleting rapidly with ~7 nodes being destroyed per week. Currently their are ~4k X nodes remaining.

My question is do you feel the X node can inadvertently become a valuable asset in the long term? My thinking is that it can eventually become attractive to institutions for two reasons. 1 - it is upgradable commensurate with the amount of VET in ones wallet. 2 - The X node quantity is reducing down resulting in each existing X node generating more VTHOR from the reserve pool.

Or I’m just a coping brainlet.
