Well first step would be to get a degree, mine is in Finance but Math or even CS are all good choices Also to follow the news daily, Bloomberg, SeekingAlpha, ZeroHedge (as long as you stay away from the paranoid conspiracy columnists) are all good resources.

Of course if you already have a good amount of money you don't need a degree to start trading on your own, but if you started from a normie middle class background like me you are gonna want one to get the jobs and experience that will make you money to start investing on your own.

One day one of them posted a job offer on our whatsapp group, I told him I was interested and wa la, I was in.
