21 yo bloomer here, got 4A* a year ago and applying for chemistry next year. Grades are obviously good enough, the admissions test isn't really that challenging, but how the fuck am I meant to pass the interview?

Let me expand, my first a level mock was shit then I worked up to an A*. My first interview will be shit but I can't work up to a good interview cause I've only got one shot at it. This wouldn't be an issue but all the private/grammar schooled freaks will have practiced it a million times and be giving good, properly prepared ones. How do they deal with this? I take it they massively adjust expectations or are they genuinely very difficult to prepare for?
