Sounds like the nano pump n dump.
I remember riding that wave, at one point I had 140k, I realized how retarded I was before it was too late and sold on the way down cashing out around 30k which was more than my initial investment. If I “held” like every other redditard I would have less than 5k now.

>> No.14400560

Tips to avoid this for other speculators:

It is wise to sell to regain some, if not all, of your initial invest amount when you’ve made some profits. Then you’re playing with only profits and can’t go below where you started.

Example:
invest $1,000. The price rises and now you have $1,200 worth. Sell $1,000, leaving you with only $200 at risk. You should especially do this if you have to pay back a loan or are on margin!

Also need to cut losses at a predetermined point before they get too big. You should decide your exit before you buy in, and stick to it.

This is trading 101 folks.

This is the only way to sleep comfy at night and not end up like OP.

Get a job and depending on your income and loan amount, maybe consider filing for bankruptcy.

Also eliminate your exposure to media and luxury lifestyle get rich bullshit. Chasing that is how you ended up this way. Don’t fall for the luxury trap, it will only make you unhappy.

t.never had to live in a third world country
I had the displeasure to move from Europe to Brazil once for a few years and I would rather be middle class in a first world country than a upper class in some shithole. In fact I would go as far as saying that middle class in a first world country have it much better.

I can see from how you write and what you use for reference that you are stupid, so I will be nice and give you a free lesson.
1-) You can make 6%/y above inflation in most of Latin America simply by renting property in the city where you live.
2-) You can easily buy properties with values from $2000 (literal garbage hut at slum) to $1000000 (penthouses in major capitals) for what they are worth.
3-) With a liquid income of $12000/year you will be basically making two times of the average liquid salary in most countries.
4-) There are no heating costs and other bullshit problems. You will spend $50 for electricity, $50 for phone+internet, $350 for renting an apartment (gas, water and water included) and that is it.
5-) Through most of Latin America you will find all-that-you-can-eat steakhouses for less than $10.
6-) Hookers start at $10 and pretty much top at $60.

>b-b-bu-but muh quality of life...
Your owners (EU / USA federal government/etc...) want you to think that you can only be happy where you live.
It is true that the USA is an amazing place to make money, but I will let you in a little secret, when you ignore Mexico, it is a fairly common practice for educated latinos to go the USA, work 10-15 years while they invest their money back home and then just return for retirement, while "el patron" lives in perpetual debt through a lifetime.

The cope is real.

>tiny run down apartment
Mentioned cost will get you about 50m2 in most cities, assuming that you want good location. I suppose that 50m2 might be tiny if you have two times the expected mass of a healthy human male.
>worrying about air conditioning
Included in electricity bill, which would be more like $20 without it.
>10 dollar “all you can eat steakhouses”
The last time that I was in Europe I saw people paying five times this price for inferior goods and service, so yeah, I will take what we got here.

I am still waiting for examples of your superior quality of life.
