Bitcoin has been rejected by every investment platform on the planet. There is no interest in it, in the marketplace. Most of the activity is between exchanges right now.

This is a final pump before exit scam by Bitfinex, is my bet. Volume is in the toilet, and "institutional" money legally has to disclose investments, and nobody has.

If you're margin betting, this is a fucking wonderland right now, to pick gold up off the streets with. Some people are going to make actual wealth off this - if they can get their gains out of an exchange, which seems to be a problem these days. Their bet paid off - I ain't even mad I never jumped in, they got really lucky. But this is gonna crash HARD, is my gut instinct.
Of course, every brainlet and poo is running around smug right now, thinking the price going up means they have a single fucking clue, but they don't, and nobody really knows why it's happening.

You might try to position yourself to short the crash, good luck. You'll need it. But it's gonna come down. There's nothing holding up this price, except tether, and everyone knows that's a scam now.

I won't disagree they're part of it, but this is all tether connected. Nothing else makes sense, and if you're following the tether story, it's pretty obvious their days are numbered. The volume, or lack of it, tells the whole story.
And, of course, the casinos like Bitmex are cleaning up. This is "hot craps table" activity - everyone hears whooping and hollering, and are jumping in. The cryptomarket was getting too placid for the exchanges to make money.
