(question stolen from a thread)

How is this any different from all the other bullshit flavour of the week pnd idex alts that's been shilled here since '16?
dont make me go through the catalog to list all 1000 of them that's been shilled the same way like this, only to be pnd'd and forgotten after like a month

It's a company that's actually generating revenue and their tokens will become shares.

Name one other project that had that in common?

>> No.14370794

Mainly because it's a company that is already generating money from clients like Airbus and AmSpec. These are not some ambiguous ideas in a whitepaper that was Frankenstein'd together, but a clear use case that you could literally explain to your grandmother. And in this day and age the service they deliver is in high demand.

>Marketcap
$9m

>Exhanges
Currently only on IDEX and hotbit. A tier 1 exchange listing is confirmed for Q3.
>Tokenomics
Supply is already 90% diluted! (majority of total supply you see on CMC is the validation pool which is permanently locked) All validation fees (on all blockchains supported) are paid for in VIDT. Clients can choose between a fixed € / $ fee (dynamic VIDT fee) or real-time market price (minimum VIDT fee). 10% of VIDT spent on validations is bought back at exchanges in unequal parts, at random moments. These tokens will be burned each month. Another 10% of VIDT spent on validations is taken from the Validation Wallet and burned as well.

Monthly buybacks and burns starting July '19.

>Clients
Several major clients including Airbus and Amspec. Amspec, a $500m revenue company have integrated the V-ID verification terminal into their website. There is a direct link from the main navigation bar on their website. http://www.amspecllc.com/verify/ They put an original rembrandt painting onto the blockchain and validated its authenticity: https://youtu.be/Zs17a4cDcU4

>Adoption
V-ID is a working product with numerous major clients currently using it, and here's the proof. Look at this: https://www.stateofthedapps.com/rankings V-ID has already made it into the TOP 50 (!!) of the most used ETH projects. Currently rank 35. It sits among projects like enigma, aelf, golem, decentraland, polymath. Check the marketcap history of these projects, then look at V-ID's.

I’m curious if you could expand more on the monthly buybacks part?

They’re buying back hodler’s tokens or buying back unsold tokens floating around?

And thank you for the breakdown, looks likw a very interesting project

Accumulation going on as we speak, matey. BTC rally today gives you a little more time to get on board. Don't believe me? have a look at that pattern for yourself. BTC rally did not phase one little bit, one of the few coins that can make this boast.

It's an md5 hashing service for boomer companies that don't know what md5 hashing is. It doesn't need a token or a blockchain (or at least a commercial blockchain). If anything, making boomers click on links in emails to "verify" them is a massive security threat.

After validating a file, it will go to the blockchain and you can verify it for free forever. What other company offers this?

None. My wagie job involves importing raw materials for use in production. I request and use inspection reports every day. I have to trust the issuer. If all of my suppliers provided this kind of verification my life would be a lot easier and the purchases I make, much more risk free. No-one provides this, which is why I'm all in (50% BTC too though). This is literally a game changer in the test and inspection arena.

I do plan on discussing it with test inspection companies that we use. Most of them are in China, and a big problem we have is dealing with intermediaries (trading companies, etc). If I could trace a shipment and inspection report through to the original supplier with a verified original inspection certificate, our risk would drop to zero in terms of counterfeit goods and the like. Just to be clear, we rely on reports provided by test and inspection companies who we engage to visit manufacturers prior to every shipment. There are many such inspection companies, if one of them provided this level of confidence, I'd use them every time.

I'm going to invest some eth in VIDT or QNT, can someone explain the burnback and buy mechanism a bit? If the price rises, there are less buybacks right, only if there are more validations? What if 22 mil in the validation wallet isn't enough to serve all their clients, will they buyback more?
