So I found out today that I had a mutual fund set up for me as a kid and the account is needing to be closed for being inactive. I'm getting a small check, but what kind of taxes am I looking at here? Could it possibly be more than was in the account upon closure, since I haven't been claiming it (since I didn't know about it)?
