It is not Porn creating unrealistic expectations. Many men just want to be wanted by someone. But more millennials are staying home and doing nothing (I'm one of them, many on 4chan are similar to me), the issue to likely partly due to housing prices in urban/city areas reaching continually ever increasing levels. That doesn't exactly make you attractive, and therein lies the issue.

So how do you fix that?

Several questions need to be considered:

- What are men doing after they leave highschool?

- Are less applying to minimum wage jobs?

- Are less applying to trade schools/apprenticeships?

- Are men beginning to perform worse in Universities (a measured by grades and likelihood to graduate, compared women).

Some of the ideas I sometimes think about include having government funded programs, tailored specifically toward training young-middle aged people (with a particular focus on men) for hands-on trade skills, and STEM related programs with clear modules to be completed, which lead to a set career path. Along with this, they should be taught aspects of literature and philosophy, with the goal of helping them to understand how Masculinity relates to modern Society, and why it is a good thing to try and contribute and perhaps form a family.

In addition to this, there should be outreach campaigns to better understand how Ageism plays a role in how employers select potential employees, in relation to specific fields. If people within their 20s-30s are not given roles because of a "lack of experience they should have at their age", Society may end up with a significant chunk of people (particularly men) who just aren't given an opportunity to do anything.
