If you read the whitepaper and follow the pivotal tracker/github, you would understand that the stablecoin mechanism has officially been implemented. Within a few days the volatility will be completely eradicated and you will see ■■■■ trending towards stability, within a few weeks being more stable than Dai and shortly afterwards being pegged to 1:1 USD at the Gwei level (1*10^-9). Basically this will establish ■■■■ as a fundamentally stable coin.

This stability is necessary for collateralized staking to work.
