I unironically came close to a psychotic episode today after found out the friend who I'd gotten into crypto early 2017 was sitting on a stack of 22 BTC and I've been aware and interested in it for 10 years and I've missed my opportunity. Literally a $5k stack. I want to end it all.

fuck i hate thinking about this. i was thinking it would just be like digital currency and at best get to $100/coin. i picked up a couple at $10, used them for different stuff. got busy working and when I looked again they were $30, then $100, then $150.

>had btc before it even hit $100
>spent it all on weed online
>looking back in my transactions and seeing multiple bitcoins being sent just for weed
I wish i could go back and beat some sense into myself. If I don't ever make it off crypto I'm going to think about this every day for the rest of my life

>> No.14305254

Anons this is not a healthy mentality. I could've bought BTC at $9 a pop. Even at those prices retards on /b/ were talking about how the bubble is going to pop. No one ever expected it to get as expensive as it did, that's why its got that expensive in the first place. No need to beat yourself up over not being able to predict the future. Shit at least you guys where able to own 100s of them and use them to buy stuff. That's a pretty cool story, especially if you were purchasing shit off the silk road. I was merely a spectator

same thing happened to me friend. bought a literal pound of weed when btc was less than $10 on the first SR - was over 300BTC. I deleted the passwords to those wallets a long time ago because it fucked with me to see how much those transactions are worth now. buying grams of hash for like 4 bitcoin and shit. got scammed for 100grams of hash from spain for 50btc. Would have been a millionaire already by the 2013 run up if if i hadn't spent it all on drugs. managed to realize what was going on and accumulated crypto in the bear market 2013-2017 so 2017 kind of made up for it, but i still can't help think every now and then if i had just kept all those sub $10 btc and how different my life might be.

Thanks based anon, thats super true. I was unemployed during 2016/2017 so never got to partake in the bullrun, I have believed in bitcoin for years though and brought many drugs off of silk road during 2012. I hope bitcoin does fulfill its destiny and even if i wont be megawealthy i can tell my kids i used the silk road and spent many bitcoin on it back in the day.

hindsight is 2020
the peopple who buy at 10k maybe consider themselves lucky because bitcoin ends up at $350k

but i find its not good dwell on the past, you would have probably sold at $100 or $200 dollars.

that said, i must state. there are always new opportunities everywhere you just have to pay attention and look around you. Something is already brewing right now that could make you insanely rich.

personally i think is pm mining stocks or possibility a tech bubble bursting and making money from the correction when it ultimately rebounds.

I heard about Bitcoin in 2011, but I thought they were something like Chuck-E-Cheese Tokens.

Now I am on paid sick leave and regularly see a psychiatrist and therapist to get over this shit.

The medication helps to not constantly think about crypto and what a fortune I could have made.
