Allen Day is not a literally who at Google, considering he runs their first blockchain team, however it is a small team it seems. They built crypto data sets for big query to do market analysis. They also built a blockchain analysis tool which made exploring blockchain data more convenient than using explorers. But right now this is all their blockchain strategy seems to amount to, data analysis. They're still trying to figure out what they're doing it seems. Not a big BaaS or marketplace or something like that. However it is only their first steps and it's also clear they're going after Microsoft and Amazon and will try to catch up. Big query integration with chainlink could open up a lot of big data + blockchain innovations. As stated in the article, it's opening prediction markets and futures use cases. However it's still only a possible market with no immediate use and demand, and it's also public data that any competitor could also integrate. It's great also because it gives link further first moving advantage and enterprise recognition. Again, think in terms of b2b marketing rather than market hype. Their resume and list of connections when they approach clients now include swift, DocuSign founder, head of blockchain at Microsoft, head of blockchain at Facebook and now head of blockchain at Google cloud, also endorsed by the founder of hyperledger, the creator of solidity, the creator of proof of stake concept, the leading legal figure in the ethereum enterprise world and the blockchain team at Oracle. If I was the cto of a big insurance company, I'd probably listen to those guys.

Sorry, but nobody will be using StainStink. If they want a JSON parser they can easily build their own and since StainStink is not decentralized (It's sybil attacked to hell if you aren't using Mac Burgers KYC) it doesn't offer anything over self created JSON parser.
