Not at all. The U.S. Navy is 5x bigger than the rest of the world navies combined. When you can wage war at that scale, with that level of speed and flexibility, at that degree of advantage over a complete coalition of every other country combined, your financial system is fine.

Shale tech is a game changer. The U.S. is becoming oil independent and a net exporter. We're sitting on the largest shale fields in the world, and exporting the highest grade quality in the world. This changes everything. It's the rest of the world, particularly the ones reliant on foreign trade, which is all but about 7 countries, that should be having trouble sleeping at night. The U.S. doesn't need foreign trade anymore. At all. We're going to be just fine.

The U.S. will never be bankrupt. We don't need foreign trade anymore. It's impossible for us to go bankrupt. We have steel, gas, manpower, tech, everything we'd ever need to build a navy. Whatever monetary system we use to measure wealth is irrelevant. However bad it ever gets for the U.S., it will be ten times worse for everyone else.

Germany will have problems keeping the lights on when international trade falls apart. They'd have trouble feeding their population if they weren't right next door to France. Non-issues for the U.S.

This is why when Merkel tried to negotiate a trade agreement with Trump as if Germany has any leverage whatsoever, Trump literally gave her an invoice for defense services and told her to pay that before he's willing to listen to anything else. Trump negotiates like Darth Vader because he can, and the whole world knows it.

Trump is renegotiating international deals because America doesn't get anything out of the system anymore. We've been subsidizing international trade for 70 years and we don't need it anymore. It's a net loss.

The country that has been supporting the international trade system, the only country that can keep it going, doesn't have any incentive anymore with shale tech. Therefore, Germany, China, India, Brazil - all fucked, along with all the neighboring countries that depend on them.

And Saudi Arabia didn't go all-in on U.S. Treasury debt because they wanted to. They're not happy about it. It was a total Darth Vader move on our part. The debt is a non-issue. That was the agreement to keep the U.S. from invading and taking all the oil. If it ever becomes an actual problem, we'll either tell the Saudis to fuck off and come try to collect, or don't worry about it, we have your gold here in Kentucky. Right. Partly why they're fucked. The U.S. isn't paying anymore for international defense, or to secure international trade, and there's an abrasive asshole from New York running the show. That's going to disrupt trade in a major way, which is going to fuck countries like Germany that are over extended in trade. Germany will have trouble feeding the people when nobody wants to buy BMWs and Bosche dishwashers in America because they're expensive as fuck, then you compound that with the cultural powder keg that's brewing with all the recent refugee immigration, and there's a nasty shit storm brewing. Austria, Denmark, Belgium and the Netherlands are fucked by extension.
