When I write out notes it helps me remember shit, I can throw the paper in the garbage after the meeting or event the effect is the same.
When I do it with a laptop it does not have the same effect.

are there unironically companies where people *don't* show up with pen and paper? it's hard to conceptualize unless we're talking zoomer sanfran startups. most people currently in the working force entered it before laptops were ubiquitous, much less smartphones
