Each of the big companies that run nodes will collude and push for adoption of libra as hard as they can, then rig the game. They will create a blacklist of users that violate ToS and you will be banned from making transactions on all of them for example.

The masses of the poor + unbanked with internet connection will undoubtedly adopt libra to be the biggest global digital currency, killing small fiat trades. In 10 years most young people will pay their groceries with their SocialNetwork account (might still be auto charge from connected bank account though), banking NFC second and fiat third at most.
The middleclass will also heavily use it for smaller transactions (sending your buddy $5 on whatsapp), but will also be the most cucked by the oligarchy.


There will be competition, google might make their own, or even a luckshot from circle, think Lyft to Uber.

After Libra has been adopted it will become clear that the only unique alternative is bitcoin. The libra of the "underground, criminals, steampunks, outcast and vintage lover"
