Does /biz/ think is going to be a big economic crash pretty soon? Is crypto really a good way to defend yourself against such case, better than gold?

Oh yeah, it's coming, probably going to start this year. Central banks are going to cut rates again, and everything will start to bleed and inflation will run out of control. You could see the price of gold spike when Draghi said he was considering a rate cut for the ECB, and then gapped down when trump said trade talks with China would resume. Gold, silver and oil are for sure going to protect you. Crypto? Who knows, it hasn't been through a full business cycle yet. Very risky, but it might do well.
