So many people are going to get rekt when it comes out that facebook wont be using chainlink, so if you bought in thinking this you only have yourself to blame I've tried to warn people of the facebook larps but people refuse to listen

link hodler here

things are looking great for link in the long-term because they will get decent sized clients that truly do want decentralized oracles, but facebook is not one of these clients

if they wanted to do this, they'd do it themselves. but why would they want to? they'd prefer to be the centralized oracle for their own smart contracts and use a fork of chainlink at best for data

>> No.14213116

This is manufactured FUD, OP. You know that, right?

Suddenly there's a bunch of normies looking at biz and basking in the LINK memes and now "Facebook is priced in?"

Finance is a cruel mistress.

I feel like if they, or any other big mover who would want to develop their own oracle, were to fork chainlink they'd make it private so they could controll who could provide data for their contracts.

If a competitive fork of chainlink is to come about, it'd have to be just a decentralized, and even then link would have first movers

Wrong because network effects are proven value creators
Also, suck a dick

This thread is a prime example why you should be fuckin bullish Chainlink. Don't let these fools meme you out of your holdings.
