Yes its legit.

Their business model is to buy users so they can raise equity from investors based on growth. Investors use a retarded metric where they price early stage companies based on $/user of comparable companies and growth prospects. It creates a positive feedback loop that leads to overvaluation across the board.

Their business model can only exist in the bubble economy we are in right now. If you want a more sustainable way to trade for free, I would open a Merrill Edge account with a 20K+ balance. You will get like 10-12 free trades per month, which is plenty and your trade execution will be much better.

K so after a really shitty day I had a revelation - an options strategy so goddamn autistic it just might actually work. I want to introduce to you guys the Poverty Calendar Ratio Spread:

Buy a leap debit spread atm/itm and then write relatively short term otm credit spreads against the debit, but writing more credit spreads than however many debits you bought. It's basically a poor man's covered call + ratio spread, except done with spreads instead of naked long calls and short calls, hence the name poverty calendar ratio spread. I'm talkin like, if you did this on spy, it's $4 to open a 2:1 trade with super low max cost ($30-40ish?) and extremely high profit potential near $100, which for locking up only $200 collateral is pretty gud.

tl;dr long term bull debit spreads + short term bear credit spreads.

and this is before Jerome steps into the arena.

but be careful to exit the markets, you DO NOT want to be the guy sitting in all cash and watching everyone else get jerked off by waves and waves of euphoric QE.

no one knows for real, this ~50ish is an important level for the producers. If crude falls under $50/barrel, it throws a wrench in the plans of a lot of companies (and countries). So recent times when it fell below that, it was because of a very strong downward momentum.
so if it does fall, damn, but the Saudis are going to do what they can ( FF attacking tankers in the gulf ? :P ) to keep oil above ~$50.

the case for a fast rise back up to >$60 would rely on the trade war suddenly ending, Iran fully chimping out, or both. Basically oil probably isn't going to power back up towards and beyond 60 just on benign market forces, it takes headlines

Dang... I really should've bought more of the dip in Nintendo... Looks like hopes are big for... is this about the new Dr. Mario game?!

Also, I'm the retard who bought the pop in DIS right after Avengers... it got even worse, as I sold after a little strength.

I don't know why. I really don't get what I was thinking, I think I just wanted to admit I made a mistake and move on. But I made it so much worse, Disney is already even higher than the stupid level I bought at!

I don't know if anyone has been smashed harder than this recently.

I mean Mario announced some crazy unexpected dovish pivot of ECB policy.
Basically saying, "It's OK, we will pump free money into the European economy, just please don't completely crash"
and futures were up like 0.5%

Meanwhile Donald Trump, old as all heck, rolls out of bed, eats a McDOnald's Double-Quarter Pounder with Cheese (Euros don't know what that is, they use the metric system). He sends a tweet. Just a few characters, about some meeting he's gonna be having with his Chinese Winne-the-Pooh looking friend later this month.
Boom. Markets up even more. Over a percent now.

I mean just how cosmically IRRELEVANT is the entire European monetary policy, banking system, and economy right now?

All the billions and trillions that the ECB wants to pump into their economy, worthless. The most negative interest rates history has ever seen (until the ECB takes them more negative last month) are worth less than a single tweet.

Jerome hasn't even fired up the main boosters yet.
We went to the moon a few decades ago, we're going back again, with the space force this time.

I doubt he would reach an agreement with the German government anytime soon, given how much they bitched about him (and his tariff policy). Besides, the current German government is in complete disarray because they don't know what the fuck they're doing while completely alienating an entire generation of voters (among young voters, Merkel's party scored lower than a comedy party - let that sink in for a moment). New elections might come even this year, depending how this headless chicken run turns out. And during a election campaign, they can't afford to show weakness against Trump.

China can wait as long as they want since they are still projected to grow more than twice that of the USA in real GDP. The only way this is going to end is if trump has to cut the war short to win his election or the market/economy starts to nose dive and he needs at least the economy to continue doing well to win re-election. IMF projections. Every time China slows down, USA slows down in lock step. Manufacturing to the USA accounts for 20% of China’s exports. The only production that is moving away from China are the ones that sell exclusively to the USA to avoid tariffs. For other countries, there is no choice but to buy from China because the cost of moving a factory and the resulting loss of value is prohibitively expensive. If you got the same factory making products for the rest of the world including the USA. Why would you move an entire factory to satisfy only 20% of your customers? Ultimately we are in unknown territory. But if we use real gdp as a measurement. It’s not working as of now. Maybe further down the road we can see the effects of the tariffs more clearly.

Why is Fed independence held up as a sacred covenant, some fundamental aspect of our government like the bill of rights or separation of powers? It's a hundred year old system that operates completely outside of our democratic Republican system, it's basically an echo chamber of economists in an ivory tower with huge power and no accountability. If it truly didn't have independence, then their actions would have accountability through elections of the president and/or congress, and we could coordinate our economic efforts and have a cohesive strategy, instead of a bunch of aloof academics sequestered in a room muttering to themselves about independence. Sorry for the rant, but when I hear chai rizdal talk about the fed with such reverence, it truly triggers me. Maybe other actors in the economy have to think it's all real in order for the system to keep functioning.

When your money comes from advertising you want to know what everyone spends their money on. When you're trying to stay on your governments good side you need to make yourself valuable. So now with this they can see what everyone spends their money on, while telling the FBI and NSA what their targets spend money on and they can financially facilitate CIA funded coups.
