Bitcoin will not be for poor people in the future, only a method of value transfer for the rich.

Comparing the fundamentals in November 2017, right at the fever pitch of the bubble and only one month before the bubble finally burst to what exists today is not that useful a comparison. For one thing, those numbers back then represented full on bitcoin-fever where people were mortgaging their houses to buy something they hadn't even heard of a few weeks before. Alt coins were popping 500x like popcorn. The fundamentals didn't make sense, the price didn't make sense. Nothing made sense. Then the bubble burst and it all went to shit. Normalfags sold their bags and fled. The lucky few with newly minted fortunes also got the fuck out. The only people left were either diehard bag holders or newfrens that hadn't lost anything yet.
So here we are today with a price that's rising much more slowly and steadily. I wouldn't say it's a perfectly fair organic market but this rise is much more sustainable than 2017 where everybody was in to get rich quick and couldn't have cared less about anything else.
In short, in November 2017, taking all things crypto into account, those fundamentals matched that price. At this moment, considering what all has occurred in the last year, the current fundamentals match this price. The upshot is since we aren't in a euphoric parabolic market, the price has a much better chance at sustainability than the last time we were here so in that sense, the guy in the pic is wrong.
