Oh my God OP I feel your pain. Not the dishonesty part, but the spiling spaghetti in phone calls. Real life is nothing but one extended bullshitting contest.

I had a phone call today about a job and I didn't full on spill spaghetti but I rambled and probably sounded autistic. It was only a 5 minute call that they probably do to screeen out everyone who isn't an aggressive normie.
