So, Tesla's stock are low, but this is due to relatively bad perspective and results
You are hoping that they will rebound faster than the market expects to make profit on short medium term

What are your insights that make you think it will be a good growth?
While some bad press, especially around emo musk can lower the stock value kind of artificially, Tesla's market and product definitely don't.look super strong atm.

What you think or what I may think about this car is completely irrelevant.

The question is, is there a big market for fully electric cars, automated or not, and is Tesla able to fulfill said market desires.
Can't exactly say that answer to both questions is a frank yes
It looks like they have pretty much filled the high end luxury niche for comiefornia rich people and that they are having trouble finding other markets, especially higher mid end cars seems to be troublesome for them and that's where the bulk of the market is.

Also today Tesla has survived mainly selling their batteries and battery technology. But the competitors are catching up and we will start to see competing solutions both in the energy and car businesses

I can agree with this. Personally I see Elon Musk as one of America’s best resources in multiple areas which is why it’s weird to see Tesla stock doing so poorly. Tesla made the model 3 to be the affordable version of their luxury model x, which is what I own and I love it. Going to upgrade to a model x eventually. The cars are great for short-medium distant commutes

This. We have 1-3 years till a massive recession....if trump has any brains he won’t run again and toss the hot potato to the next president so he can say “it was perfect when I was in office”. He gave massive amount of cash to wall street so they could buy on the way up and sell everyone their bags right before it crashes. This old men have been doing this for generations...the only way to win is to use their strategy.

Elon musk is falling for several fallicies when it comes to transportation.
The boring company is an absolute disgrace and it keeps dragging very thing else down
Also he is unpredictable and keeps feuding with the SEC which is a HUGE liability for any company.

SpaceX is an awesome company and it will keep on piling successes, Tesla was a revolutionary idea but I don't think the company is equipped to properly transform and expand properly.
They are also suepr dependant on the local states and govt installing charging infrastructure.
I personally hope they will turn things around and take the leap properly but it's too much of a bet for me to put money in
